    Mindfulness-Based Workshops and Groups
Facilitating and developing mindfulness workshops is one of my favourite creative and grounding things to do. I design programs with your community in mind. Let’s learn together as we journey through each practice and psychoeducation session. In our group you are a meditator and a wisdom sharer. Cultivate your practice in compassionate community.
I am a dedicated mindfulness meditator, student, and facilitator. I have co-facilitated mindfulness-based groups and community mindfulness drop-in groups for over 12 years. I incorporate trauma-informed mindfulness practices with program participants, in hopes of creating a safer mind-body connection experience.
I am also a community Dhamma teacher for racialized, co-facilitating daylong retreats, mindful walking groups, and assisting with residential retreats.
Fees for professional consultation, workshop planning and delivery, will be established after discussions around individual, and group needs.
I have had the honour of working with a number of organizations to provide mindfulness-based workshops, curriculum, educationals, groups, and staff retreats:
Centennial College
Women’s Health in Women’s Hands
Intuit
City of Toronto
Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood Centre
University of Ottawa

    Individual Mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation is a practice that has been around for over 2600 years. Today, many Buddhists and secular students practice individually and in communities or sanghas. Mindfulness encompasses not just meditation, but a way of being, communicating, action, and kind presence. This practice is about liberation.
I have been trained in the Theravada tradition and have been on many vipassana retreats over the years. I also have training and practice in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and have also experienced MBCT as a client. MBCT is what led me to seek out a deeper spiritual experience with mindfulness meditation and journey towards Buddhist teachings, also known as Dhamma or Dharma.
Whether you want to explore secular mindfulness or Buddhist philosophy, psychology, and teachings, we can work together to cultivate:
🖤 Patience
🖤 Presence
🖤 Curiosity
🖤 Loving-kindness
🖤 Concentration
🖤 Attention
🖤 Compassion
🖤 Acceptance
